Dr. Harts will be a featured guest lecturing and master class artist at Buffalo State University for their annual "Women in Music Series"
Dr. Madeline Harts will present a lecture recital and master class as apart of the Buffalo State University "Women in Music Series" on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 7:30 PM in Ciminelli Music Hall.
"Rediscovering Clara Kathleen Rogers: Her Music and Pedagogy" is a lecture recital program that explores the little known art songs and pedagogy of Clara Rogers for students of singing. The lecture will also include a comprehensive guide to finding and programming music by women composers, an important initiative of today's musical artists. A master class featuring students of the Buffalo State University Vocal Arts program will follow.
